Don’t have a whole lot of time outside of work to raise money for The Longest Day? Not a problem, here are some great ideas that you can do while you are at work.
Grab your friends, family and co-workers and form a team. You don’t have to live in the same city or state — or even the same country! Don’t be nervous to ask others to get involved — you’ll be surprised how many people have been affected by Alzheimer’s and want to join the fight.
You can live anywhere and participate in The Longest Day.
I’ve been asked to share the reason I am passionate about participating in The Longest Day. My immediate response is to say I do it to honor my parents who were both lost to younger onset Alzheimer’s. While that is true, it goes much deeper than that.
While teams are encouraged to participate on Monday, June 20, The Longest Day is a flexible event that can be held any day of the week, for any length of time. • If weekends work better, move your activity to Saturday or Sunday.
