My company is a small organization of people that sponsors entertainment events for the open public. We also are an organization that believes in providing entertainment with a purpose. On December 17, 2016, we will be sponsoring a Holiday Event at the Virginia Living Museum with proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Association. The event will start at 8 pm and supporters will be able to enjoy live entertainment, a DJ, dancing, complimentary wine, food and a festive holiday spirit all until 12 midnight while supporting The Longest Day campaign.
Alzheimer’s has affected my family tremendously; my mother has been living with Alzheimer’s since 2012. My grandfather passed away from this disease also my aunt is also suffering from it. In my opinion this disease robs you of your later years of life. My goal is to raise awareness and money to try to find a cure for this horrible disease. It may not help my mother but hopefully one day it can help someone’s loved one.
Thank you in advance for your support and we hope to see you Dec. 17th.

About The Longest Day
The Longest Day® is a team event to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association®. Held annually around the date of the summer solstice, the duration of this sunrise-to-sunset event symbolizes the challenging journey of those living with the disease and their caregivers. Teams are encouraged to create their own experience as they fund raise and participate in an activity they love to honor someone facing the disease.
