Why I Walk to End Alzheimer’s

Ashley Jordan, YAAA! Member

Ashley Jordan is a member of the YAAA! Peninsula group. YAAA! is the young professionals group of the Alzheimer’s Association Southeastern Virginia Chapter.

Ashley was born and raised in Hampton Roads. She graduated from Old Dominion University in 2008, and currently works at The Chesapeake Retirement Community as a Fitness Specialist. She and her boyfriend have two fun and adorable dogs, named Pepper and Kiwi. In her spare time Ashley loves to travel as much as possible and spend time with family and friends.

Her interest in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and in YAAA! began at her job…she works with residents who have Alzheimer’s and she wants to learn more and work toward a cure. She also has a relative who has been recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

Join Ashley in making a difference at the next YAAA! Social on Saturday, October 12th:

Thirty-One Fundraiser

If you can’t attend, feel free to order online until Sunday, October 13th. 25% of sales will be donated to the Peninsula YAAA! Walk to End Alzheimer’s team –  join our team!
