You can live anywhere and participate in The Longest Day. Join with friends and family across the country — or even the world — and form a team that is active from multiple locations. We have tools to help you with scheduling your day and staying connected, even if you can’t be face to face on June 21.
Volunteer Spotlight: Joyce Tribble
Joyce Tribble walked into the Norfolk office one day in 2011 and asked if we ever needed volunteers in the office. Joyce’s husband, Sonny, had Alzheimer’s and had died a little more than a year before she came in. Joyce soon became a dependable weekly volunteer at the front desk, answering the phone, filing, putting together mailings, and performing other clerical duties with good humor and care.

Join AKA as we raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. The books are selling for $20.00 and proceeds will benefit our 2017 The Longest Day campaign.
